Invitations: Kim and Seth

I am in love with the bright bold colors this summer’s wedding season has brought me. From Jessie and Mike’s pink and green, Emily and Andy’s navy and fuchsia, Coleen and Matt’s pink and teal and now some purple and green. These next wedding invitations are a true color story.

When I first meet with a Bride and Groom I always ask them to bring clippings and other things from their wedding planning that can help me envision their day and gain as much inspiration as possible. While chatting over coffee Kim, the bride to be, pulls out a sunning silk dress in rich emerald green and stunning jewel toned purple peep toe heels that the bridesmaids will be wearing. She then proceeds to tell me that she and and the groom to be, Seth don’t really have a “theme” or “motif” for their upcoming summer wedding. I saw it right away, this wedding is all about COLOR! In the same meeting I also learned that their ceremony is going to be outside and the bride loves paisley. I took all those elements and created this bright, bold, elegant set.

The wedding invitations were mailed in a metallic green envelope wtih custom address lables and postage stamps. The green envelopes opened up to reveal a metallic purple pocket fold wrapped in vellum and sealed a round sticker. Inside sits the invitations with the organic paisley breaking through opposite corners. Neatly stacked inside the pocker are all the details for their wedding weekend. Notice how the pasiely contines to climb from on card to the next.

Yay for color!
