Invitations: Fashion & Flower Bridal Shower
I was working with the Bride’s sister to create these fun bridal shower invitations. The bride was having a black, white and pink wedding and loved flowers and fashion. When designing them I immediately thought about the flower phase of Carrie Bradshaw (a true fashion lover) from Sex in the City. The flower pins she wore on her dresses, tanks, jackets, and even in her hair was a great inspiration!
The extra large flower brought in a great visual texture and bled of two side of the invitation. We then brought in a bright pop of pink on a smaller card asking guests to share a recipe. I then of course getting a little too excited, and a bit carried away, designed the recipe cards to complete the package! The guest then brought them to shower and filled a pink recipe box for the Bride and Groom (such a sweet idea). These fun and stylish invitations were mailed in white envelopes with a small black flower on the return flap, and on the custom stamp. Each guest address were printed on round hot pink label, definitely a piece of mail that was not to be missed!
