The Knot Vendor Party

knotpartyI just got home from The Knot vendor party that was held at Fenway Parks EMC club - so fun! I love being in Fenway Park, whether in the bleachers, field box, or the luxury box, just being inside a historic park is awesome. There is just something so intriguing about being high above home plate looking over a quiet field, while attending events at the EMC club. We saw the world series trophies and there are amazing photographs everywhere you turn. I also love all the little details. The little red sox on the china (which Tim told me we should have picked for our wedding china), the cocktail napkins, even down to every bar tenders tie with the oh so subtle sox, you never forget your in Fenway Park.

The evening started off with a great informational introduction to all things The Knot, and weddings 2009. That was followed by lavender champagne cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres including: sliders, shrimp cocktail, mini lobster rolls (I can’t wait for summer!), and other tastey treats. The event was planned by Heather at Simply Inviting, whom I had the pleasure to meet earlier this winter. She did a great job with peanut filled centerpieces with Sox banners. A candy bar with red and blue jelly beans, gummy hot dogs, chocolate foil base balls, and red swedish fish!

The fun photo of Tim and I is courtesy of  Shutter Booth. These are the guys who set up the fun photo booths at wedding receptions. They drove all the way in from Detroit, they have 14 branches nation wide and are hoping to expand into the Boston area. If anyone is looking for a business opportunity or a booth at your wedding give them a shout, they were a lot of fun!

We met alot of great people, and just wanted to say thanks to Valarie and all the wonderful people at The Knot, for such a great event.
