Soup to Nuts

Not to brag, but I am becoming a wizard with the rubber cement wand!  Yesterday, Jillian and I spent 3-4 hours assembling some really cool Key West invitations.  We sporadically sang “If I were a boy…” by Beyonce; not the entire song mind you, just that line, and consistently in a nasally falsetto.  This morning my dining room table is lined with invitation pieces for our July 4th bride.  Without Jillian, I’ve been rubber-cementing and singing another Beyonce favorite, “If you liked it, then you should’ve put a ring on it,” to my husband in the other room; this is both nonsensical and, with the rubber cement fumes, hilarious to me.

So along with designing the invitations, we can assemble them for you as well (while having an excellent time, of course).  And I don’t know that we’ve advertised this enough on our site at this point, but we make more than invitations for weddings.  For my wedding alone, Jillian designed the invitations, thank-you notes, programs, menus, cocktail napkins, and speciality drink signs.  Had I met her sooner, I would have asked her to do my save-the-dates.  Jillian and I are also expanding our “wedding” part of the business to include favors for the bridal party and for the guests.

J. Sullivan Design has also worked on invitations and paper goods for children’s parties, bridal showers, baby showers, birth announcements, and dinners.  Perhaps I’ve used this blog to brag about the business instead of my cementing skills.  Perhaps I wouldn’t feel so sheepish about this “if I were a boy”…
