Destination Wedding : Marco Island
It’s that time of year when everyone is craving spring and sick of the snow and ice for which New England is famous. Two of my brides couldn’t wait any longer and are heading south for their weddings. One to Key West (more on her invitations later this weekend), and the other to Marco Island, Florida.
I finished Coleen and Matt’s custom wedding invitations for their May wedding earlier this week. They are inviting their friends and family to Marco Island, Florida (one of their favorite places) for a long weekend to share in their nuptials, to celebrate, and to enjoy the sunshine! Their wedding invitation set is full of bright pinks and rich teals with a tropical, yet elegant, feel. The invitations will warm their guests when they arrive in their mailboxes next week. Bright pink envelopes with custom sand dollar stamps and teal mailing labels open up to reveal a sparkling teal pocket -folder. Each invitation is wrapped in pink grosgrain ribbon, and my most favorite part, sealed with a sand dollar (a sand dollar that we had shipped up from Florida)! Here a few shots after the assembly was complete. More photos of the inside and the stunning thermography printing to come soon.
