Escort Cards or Featured Cocktail

Usually the first piece of stationary guests come across at a wedding reception are escort cards. These are beautiful pieces of stationary that inform guests what table they will be sitting at. A fun twist to a traditional escort card is to mix it up and place it in a drink! I did this at my own wedding. When our guests entered the reception room they met a table full of champagne glasses, each with a custom flag with their names on one side, and their table numbers on the back.

It’s a a fun way to incorporate a featured cocktail or a drink that is representative of the season or location of your wedding: sparkling lemonade in the summertime with bright colored straws, apple cider at a fall wedding, or hot toddies in the winter; the options are endless!
